Point-of-sale software for pharmacies
A pharmacy rings up a lot of small sales, across a wide range of references, and must find a product and its history fast.
What matters day to day
- • Ring up fast, across hundreds of references
- • Track large stock volumes
- • A customer file for regulars
- • Keep working even if the network drops
What MerchantHQ does — and does not do
MerchantHQ rings up sales, tracks stock and keeps a customer file, without a permanent connection. Let's be precise: it is not specialised pharmacy software — no batch tracking and no expiry dates. For a counter till and simple stock tracking it fits; for regulated pharmaceutical management it does not replace dedicated software.
For the big picture, see the checkout software, and pricing and plans are on the Pricing page.
Frequently asked questions
Does it handle batches and expiry dates?
No. MerchantHQ tracks stock quantities, but not batch numbers or expiry dates. It is a limitation worth knowing before choosing.
Does data stay accessible without a network?
Yes: the till and stock work locally; the backup goes out as soon as the connection returns.
